Roses
In 1993, Balanoor entered into export-oriented agricultural activities. A wholly owned subsidiary, Indo Bloom Ltd, was founded to grow cut roses for export. The roses are cultivated on a 15 hectare farm ideally suited near Doddaballapur, about 45 km from Bangalore.
High quality imported plant material has been established in immense green houses extending over two hectares. Superior quality roses in a variety of colors are cut and packed with utmost care before being shipped to domestic and international markets. Cut flowers are exported to Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
